votazioni del 24 settembre 2006 il PU raccomanda di accettare l' iniziativa COSA per contrastare il continuo e crescente smantellamento dello stato sociale.
Il PUSI raccomanda di votare 2xNo alla revisione della legge sugli stranieri ed alla modifica della legge sull' Asilo. Il PUSI, essendo stato anche promotore del referendum contro queste 2 lex Blocher , le considera una violazione della Carta Internazionale dei diritti umani, di cui siamo depositari, nonché un ulteriore indebolimento della tradizione umanitaria Svizzera. Ci metteremmo allo stesso livello degli stati che non rispettano i diritti umani e non potremmo più contribuire a combatterne le violazioni. Il PUSI considera inoltre che gli stranieri sono always been a treasure for the week. "
